- Provide executive level leadership for Information Technology Services at Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, MA
- Develop and maintain an IT Strategic Plan in concert with college governance and stakeholders
- Early adopter of cloud-based data warehouse integrated with AWS and Tableau empowering one hundred new users to utilize data-driven decision making
- Lead demand management effort at the college utilizing Team Dynamix with project management teams and live, online road mapping to provide complete transparency of priorities and progress to the community and Executive Team
- As a Gartner member 2019-2020 built online service catalog providing improved resource management, support and awareness; Gartner experts also guided our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) discovery

2009 - present
information security officer
Appointed by the State as the Department Security Officer in 2009 Jeff led the college to passing their first PCI compliance in 2010. The policy and procedures developed became a model for others institutions. Serving as a financial institution in the eyes of the Federal government the college is guided by Jeff through the FFIEC Cybersecurity Assessment Tool to access the college’s risk and cybersecurity maturity. Jeff maintains the WISP through a cloud-based, automated training platform. Jeff has led the college through multiple, successful IT audits from the State and attends CISSP training annually from CyberVista.
2006 – 2008
Director of networking & user services
Jeff focused on operational improvements in this role at North Shore Community College. Backbone fiber optic issues were identified and eliminated providing a consistent level of service for both Danvers and Lynn campuses. As chair of the IT Committee Jeff introduced WordPress as an online communication tool for the governance body and improved member satisfaction from 40% to 93%. Self-service and public wifi services were introduced providing improved secuirty and traffic shaping. Jeff was also responsible for several network and office plans which were implemented on-time and on-budget.
1996 – 2006
TECHNOLOGY CHIEF
Hired as the Director of Technology for the School Department Jeff also served as the Technology Chief for many departments throughout the Town of Marblehead for ten years. In this role Jeff designed the first town-wide, fiber optic network connecting the town offices, School Department, Police, Fire and several more providing shared Internet and network services. He lead the design and installation of horizontal cabling in numerous buildings saving the town over $500k in consulting and vendor costs.

- Connected the first, centralized ERP for the School Department utilizing new town-wide LAN
